At Georgetown MN, the plainsmen Club camps out and shoots at the site of Georgetown. It was  a Hudson Bay Fur Tading Post in 1859 to 1878 bringing in fur and trade goods back to Winnepeg Canada.

In the summer the club has  shoots on Tuesdays. It's a great time to learn to load and clean your gun safly the club members will help you be a better shot and help you with your gun if you have problems. The older members know a lot about the guns we use.  We  have a lots of fun doing it plus we talk about past Rendezvous and history (1750 to 1840's) of the Men & Women and what they have done  to make this land great

In the fall we have an all camp shoot at the site. We cook out and the food is always good.   In February we have a shoot we call it are Drippy Nose. That's fun!  We have a big bon fire,  food and lot's of fun and that is what the Plainsmen are all about.  I hope to see you down the path some time.     Sasquatch
